It had been grey skies the entire week. Just the kind we’re used to in the Minnesota winter. You know the kind. Dingy and blah. Dark and cloudy. But then something happened. Our eyes had to adjust to the light when we saw it. Could it be? The sun?! The sun! On our way to the session, we knew this winter maternity session was about to be epic.

When Nicole got pregnant, she told us that her dream was to have her maternity session with one of their horses. With Paul too, of course. I don’t know if you guys know this, but horses are really cool. Of course we said yes! We didn’t realize Nicole was going to wear one of the most beautiful dresses EVER making the shoot even more beautiful! It’s not very easy to look effortless and graceful in the freezing cold while pregnant while trying to wrangle a horse. But somehow, some way, Nicole did just that. Like are you kidding me with the gracefulness here?!

Life is so funny. Joe thinks back to high school and his memories of him and Paul getting in trouble for talking too much in class. They were definitely just young kids. Sleeping in class, playing football, the usual. They’ve definitely grown a lot since those days. Paul has been an amazing husband to Nicole and we know that Paul will be an amazing father to this new baby, too.
