Look. At. These. Two. 

Lauren and Ruben are a beautiful couple that just recently got engaged. We’ve been friends with them for years – Lauren and Bri were college roommates! We were SO excited to take their engagement photos. When they stepped out of the car at Como Park for the session, our jaws dropped. Their outfits were spectacular. Lauren wore neutral color-flowing dresses that perfectly complimented her hair and beautiful smile, and Ruben had a fresh haircut, button-up short-sleeve shirts, and rugged Red Wing Iron Ranger boots. These two looked good. 

Como Park was an excellent location for the photoshoot that evening. With the conservatory in the background and the sun setting –  we couldn’t have asked for a better place for this session. Sunset us our absolute FAVORITE time to take photos. As natural light photographers, these few hours in the evening are just magical. As the sun sets, the sun’s departing glow makes everyone we put in front of our cameras look amazing. This specific time of day gives us a soft, even light from head to toe, with a soft, even light in the background. It makes skin tones smooth and gives images that magical, golden look. 

Lauren and Ruben, we had an absolute blast with you guys! You two did such an excellent job with our poses and made it so easy for us to get these awesome photos. It’s been so fun watching your love grow throughout these years and we cannot wait for your wedding next year! We love you guys and we hope you love your engagement photos.
