Foggy Riverside Engagement Session

Sometimes a shoot doesn’t go like you planned. You wake up before the sun comes up only to realize the sun isn’t coming out. But, maybe… something just as good. Fog. It turned out to be a very foggy morning down by the St. Croix River. And it turned out so cool. Kelcee wasn’t mad – she simply said, hey, it’s unique, just like our wedding!

This session, it was the carefully planned details for us – like bringing an Alice in Wonderland book (because their wedding will have that theme), Kelcee’s grandma’s wedding jewelry, and Kelcee’s wedding ring with her mom’s stone. We love that Kelcee incorporated so much of herself in her engagement session. That really is what it’s about – celebrating you and your love in this very special, short time of your life. Your engagement is a really exciting time, filled with joy and hope for the future. We love when people take advantage of it and soak it in!

Kelcee and Mike, we seriously can’t wait for your wedding. Kelcee has carefully planning every single detail and it sounds like a total photographer’s dream. You two are so sweet and we had so much fun with you! Thank you so much for waking up so early for your session – and coming with so many smiles! There was only one yawn from Mike, which definitely impressed us. We had so much fun and we are so excited to have some more fun on your wedding day!

  1. Diane Patton says:

Kelcee, I love you so much, and am so happy that you have found your soul mate. I love your happy smile in these pictures. And I love seeing those dimples. I still think they are so deep that you could plant flowers in them. Seeing you wearing Grandma Boren’s jewelry brought tears to my eyes. It would have made her so proud that you wanted to wear them. I think of you all the time, and I love you and I miss you so very much. I wish you all the love in the world with your sweetheart. Hugs and kisses, Grandma D.
